PAINTING BUILDINGS ON LOCATION AT BARRINGTON VILLAGE GREEN

Dear all,

Continuing with my prior email about painting in Barrington tomorrow-----

we will be meeting at the car park in Barrington at 9.30 a.m. tomorrow. The car park is opposite the entrance to Challis green and at the beginning of Haslingfield road near the church, see pics above and below, and also map   https://maps.google.co.uk

We will be simplifying form again, but this time with buildings, and I have chosen Barrington for it's abundance of pretty buildings, and also it's generous green upon which to sit and paint.

We will be looking at different approaches of style and application.

SIMPLIFYING FLOWER PAINTING FOR 12 & 13TH OF JUNE CLASSES

My latest painting THE QUEENS HORSE GUARD

This painting is a continuation on my theme of placing objects along the routs of a particular compositional structure, in this case it is a figure 8 on it's side, forming 2 loops.
I'm calling it, ' An exercise in restraint' ( The queens horse guard ) to align the limited pallet with subject matter
